INSULATION

Did you know that insulating your home or business is one of the most effective ways to lower utility costs? Insulating your property also regulates humidity and increases indoor comfort.

Proper insulation is especially important in a hot, humid climate like here in Central Florida. Harsh temperates can place a heavy burden on your HVAC equipment. The summer heat can cause roof temperatures to go well into the 100s, even exceeding 150 degrees. By having a professional properly insulate your attic, you can help keep this heat out of your home or office as the attic insulation acts as a thermal barrier.

Iron Air and Heat of Central Florida offers several types of insulation, including fiberglass, spray foam, mineral wool, and cellulose. We will examine your home or business to determine the optimal and most cost-effective insulation type for your residential or commercial property.

Fiberglass Insulation

Fiberglass is one of the most standard insulation types. Fiberglass insulation is designed to fit into the standard width between floor joists, attic rafters, and wall studs.

Spray Foam Insulation

Spray foam insulation is used to seal leaks and gaps inside existing walls. Spray foam insulation is sprayed in liquid form, then expands and hardens into a solid form.

Mineral Wool Insulation

Mineral wool insulation is made from extruded lava rock, making it the ideal insulation material for wood-framed structures. In addition to insulating against heat, it is also fire and moisture-resistant.

Cellulose Insulation

Cellulose insulation, also known as loose fill insulation, is a type of blow-in insulation. Cellulose insulation is most commonly used in attic floors.
